Steampunk’s Officially Cutting-Edge!
One of my fellow yaoi scholars sent me a link to today’s New York Times article, Steampunk Moves Between 2 Worlds (see BugMeNot passwords), which discusses the steampunk aesthetic in fashion and design. Alas, Clockwork Heart isn’t mentioned, but it’s great to see mainstream media attention being given to the steampunk movement.
Wired ran an article on steampunk and technology last year that features some delicious photos. Be sure to check out Datamancer’s work.
