Under the Gun!

The Harrow

Dru at Gun RangeWell, despite my best intentions, I’m putting together the new issue of The Harrow at the last minute again. For the last 10+ years I’ve been saying that I’m going to get the issues put together early … maybe even a  month or two early … but it’s yet to happen. I’m not, in general, a procrastinator, but you’d never know it to watch me work on The Harrow. Thank the baleful Gods of Publishing that Michael, my fiction editor, is better-organized! He’s got our issues lined up well into July already….

We’ve got quite a variety of fiction lined up for you tomorrow, though love seems to be a central theme. “Tyn & Adia” by Jonathan T. F. Weisberg is a thoughtful narrative fantasy about two fabled lovers and the sacrifices they’ve made for each other.  “Mermaid Shells” by Matt Larkin is a tale of love and betrayal, while “Through a Glass Darkly” by Scotti Matics features love and, er, murder. On the not-so-loving side, we have “The Gladys Report, by Doctor Howard Tilman” by Brian Douglas Graham, a tale of repressed memories and unfortunate goings-on in an old fishing village; “The Hatbox” by Peter W. F. Clines, a first-person tale of soulless science 19th-century style; and “Escalation” by Timothy M. Roberts, which is all about feeling like one of the gang.

Check out The Harrow tomorrow to read the April issue!
