Got My Copy of Clockwork Heart
It’s been a little funny hearing people tell me that they’ve been reading my book but not ever having seen it, myself.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I didn’t get a chance to check the proofs, and as a result, I’m a bit concerned about typos. So far I’ve heard there are three: two in the front matter and one “too” for “to.” Ah, well, I’ve been in publishing long enough to know that errors creep in no matter how hard you try. This is why I tell my communication students that good editing skills are so vital — and that if any of them become copy editors, they will never, ever starve for lack of work. And why I will keep posting occasional grammar lessons on this blog….
