An Agreement With Hell, Short Stories

Well, I found an alternative email for Angela Challis, formerly of Shadowed Realms, and sent off a query about the last issue that she’d said would show up. I have a feeling it’s fallen through and that yet another “sale” has dried up. Dammit. I also queried to Abberant Dreams, which has had my story “Fellgate” since early January.

I should query soon about Carnifex Press and An Agreement with Hell, too. I last heard from them on December 22, so the standard six-month wait period will be up this month. Also still waiting on the Holy Horrors antho — been waiting forever, but they say they hope to have a TOC by the end of this month.

Everyplace should adopt The Harrow’s system. That way authors like me can log in, make sure the story got there, and track it as it goes from submitted to section editor assigned to reviewer assigned to review in to decision made…. Instead of sitting around wondering!
